Can you please guide me regarding CCA exam.. how many exams i have to clear to get CCA certification or Just one.. i am thinking abt CCA presentation server.. which one guys you would prefer..

i m new bee for citrix..

and any video lab and study material for it.

I'm interested as well. Do you only need to do 1 prometric exam? are there any other requirements..I use PS4.5 @ work but need an exam guide! I'll keep looking and if I find something will let you know.

Citrix have many products (presentation server, password manager, access gateway with advanced access control, and many other products)

• presentation server is application delivery software which built on server based computing solution
• password manager is single sign on solution to manage passwords
• access gateway is ssl-vpn appliance

this 3 product called access suite
for every one of this products, there is an exam:

1. Citrix Certified Administrator (CCA) for presentation server
2. Citrix Certified Administrator (CCA) for password manager
3. Citrix Certified Administrator (CCA) for access gateway

which product you want to take it's exam?

If you're just starting out..... as most do..... to get your CCA, you should go for the CCA for Citrix Presentation Server 4.0 or 4.5. You might as well go for 4.5 since its the latest.
To get your CCA you need to take one E-learning course online from Citrix. There are approx. 20 questions at the end you must pass. It's very easy and to me a waste of time but required. I think that exam costs $100.00 dollars. Then you'll need to schedule to to take your exam at a physical Testing Center for either exam 1y0-256 (4.0) or 1y0-259 (4.5). I think the exam is $125.00 or $150.00 dollars. The test questions are straight forward and not tricky such as Microsoft exams.

Thank you very much for the information - I will do PS4.5. What study material is recommended? Testking for 4.5? Does anyone have a copy? If not i'll buy and post on here.

the best study guide for CCA for presentation server 4.5 is the Admin guide which is shaped with product CD. Also the courseware from Citrix for this exam is very good (if you can, get it).
