This Armed Forces of the Philippines Uniform Code contains the general and specific provisions obtained from official publications, and various references that address AFP uniform matters to project a united and professional image of the AFP.

This Code is therefore published as a basic reference for all military personnel to achieve uniformity in using and wearing authorized AFP uniforms.

The AFP Uniform Code sets forth military uniform policies, rules and regulations for the prescription and proper wearing of AFP uniforms. Its
objectives are to provide descriptions of all authorized military uniforms and components, and to establish clear-cut guidance in the use of uniforms to present a respectable image of the AFP. The provisions prescribed herein shall apply to all active military personnel and other authorized persons and shall be treated as AFP Regulations.
