This booklet gives you a carefully selected and graded selection of tunes suitable for the tin whistle with diagrams to show the fingering for each tune. It also contains some instruction on the basics of whistle playing and the rudiments of reading music. Not only will it make it easy for you to play the tunes, but it will also help you to learn to play from the written music so that, in a short time, you should be able to play tunes from the music only.

For those who are familiar with the tunes or who can read music, there is a twin pack containing a whistle and booklet; for those who cannot read music or are not familiar with the tunes, there is a triple pack which contains a whistle, booklet and CD, on which you can listen to the tunes being played by an accomplished player.

The best way of developing a style of your own is to listen to accomplished players and try to emulate aspects of their playing which appeal to you.
