You can say that again!! Note: "...from both sides of the Atlantic..." Not *both sides of the argument.* The whole premise of this book is completely bogus. Those opposed to the war in Iraq in the UK have had 7 years of the UK media promoting their side of the argument. The media decided *they* didn't like the war, figured that 1 million (?) anti-war marchers gave them a mandate, despite the adult population being some 40 million, and systematically edited out, misreported, or just plain ignored anything that didn't accord with their (anti-war)point of view. "The propaganda machinery of the UK..." The propaganda machinery of the UK was on the side of the insurgency. By some jujitsu of logic the responsibility for every insurgent bombing that killed innocent Iraqis was laid at the feet of Bush and Blair. I despise everything about this book.
